Calls, messages and data from your wrist

With a nano-SIM on an active 4G plan, the built-in microphone and speaker handle calls, and the watch sends messages and uses data with no phone in your pocket. It takes a physical nano-SIM (there is no eSIM), so the watch typically gets its own SIM and number, separate from your phone’s. At home or in the office, Wi-Fi keeps apps online without using mobile data.

Inside is a quad-core Cortex-A7 processor with Mali-T820 MP1 graphics, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage: entry-level hardware that is fine for calls, maps, messages and light apps, but not meant for games. The square 2.02-inch touchscreen is large for a watch, which makes dialling, reading messages and following a map easier. 600 nits helps readability outdoors, and 60Hz keeps scrolling smooth.

Turn the rotating crown to open the app drawer or change cloud-based watch faces, click it to go back, and long-press it for volume. The home button takes you home with one press, opens multitasking with two, and powers the watch on or off when held.
